15 SVHC list in REACH Regulations
Inspection and quarantine organizations reminded the manufacturers to pay more attention to the effect of the REACH. The manufacturers should have the green production and green marketing concept, take measures as soon as possible, follow the legislation development further, import, develop and use nontoxic and low toxic products, apply registration pf chemical products exported to Europe, reinforce the inspection, reflect the technical barrier problem, and improve the process, so as to evade the risk. The enterprise could evade the technical barrier and avoid the economic loss caused by encumbrance of export only if they develop the leading industries with independent intellectual property rights and are familiar with rules of WTO. To win the market, it is necessary to improve the technical content of the products, improve the intellectual property rights consciousness, develop new products with market prospect, develop environmental friendly substitutes, improve the product quality, and adjust production technology and formulas.
However, many electromechanical enterprises know few about the new EU regulation. Therefore, inspection and quarantine organizations remind them:
React positively. Negative waiting will delay opportunities. Enterprises could understand the latest development of REACH regulation through training and seminar. At the same time, inspection and quarantine organizations will publish relating information to the enterprises.
Take the initiative. Enterprises should change their habitual thinking of depending on the government’s guide, collect information from industry associations, EU customers, agencies and foreign organizations, expand the sources of information and grip the development comprehensively.
Act at the right time. Electromechanical enterprises should pay close attention to the measures that the upstream chemical enterprises taken to comply with REACH regulation and select material suppliers in advance to avoid affecting the production.
